WORST CAR LOT EVER

Bought car from this dealer that was a major overpriced lemon. The salesmen and managers lie, the have no consiences whatsoever and their vehicles suck. Most need at least minor repairs, and some like mine need major repairs. The people who work there and obviously the owner as well do not care about us hardworking consumers or how bad they screw us. Yes they can get you a loan if you have bad credit, but I warn you... if you are trying to rebuild your credit or do not have hundreds much less thousands of dollars to throw away DO NOT GIVE BIG MACS YOUR BUSINESS!!! Our car has been nothing but a money sucker and we are stuck with a very large loan for a vehicle that is nothing but a pretty piece of ***.

Best service ever

surprised I didn't know there were any car dealers left that believed in customer service! Theses guys treated me great even though i have bad credit. Very Surprised! Posted by robert on August 18, 2012. 5 of 5 stars Excellent experience, has been difficult for me to get credit and also get a Quality car that included a warranty. There sales team was very nice and provided a homey down to earth experience that did not seem like a "car lot" (negative) experience. I would highly recommend them! Posted by Nadine Wattep s 5 of 5 stars I came to purchase a vehicle and met this very professional salesman. I called late evening and he was pleasant and I told him that I will be getting off work at 8pm. He stated that he will be there and wait on me if I am interested.....His hospitallty was awesome. He kept checking on us while we were waiting on financing. He made sure that I stayed informed and were comfortable with the waiting period. This is the first time I ever experience buying a car that the salesman was honest about their vehicles. I will tell and refer my family and friend to Big Mac's Auto for their next purchase. This salesman name is Willie; I really appreciate your honesty with me from the start to finish. Your are a great salesman because of your personality and who you are as a person. These are rugged responses , they are fake. This car lot rips people in hard positions off on a daily basis.

Over-Priced Lemon

Went in and bought a 2003 car with decent mileage. They said the price was higher then blue book because I had to be financed. They also told me to lie to the finance company about how much cash I paid down (they said they do it all the time, no biggie) I was told it was a good running, dependable car. Price? $6,900 !! On 2nd day had to take it for for issues, and then after the first week it needed a major repair/ water pump($300+), a couple weeks later another issue / Catalytic Convertor($289)then again about 2 weeks later we replaced engine speed control module & water pressue issues($100 for one issue, $258 for another) 5 days later, another issue , and to top it off, the mechanic at the repair shop said it had an old tranny (not original)the Head Gasket is leaking and causing engine to over heat the water to boiling by the pressure and toxins. The manager has not been sympathetic at all.. it is now on the side of the road having blown a nhole out the hoses due to the high pressure in the water lines, and I plan to call them to go get it.

Update on the Lemon: Big Macs refused to take it back or to allow us to have it towed there. Was told it's my car, my problem, and that I need to continue making payments.

Uhm..

no, no thank you. :cry

Total scam

This dealership owned by burt girod is a total scam. The only way they can get you financing is by paying a huge fee to the lenders and passing that fee on to you.also they doctor the paperwork so you can trade in a xbox and they will make it look like it's worth a thousand dollars but actually just ad it into the price that's the same as stealing! So if you want a good fleecing go see burt girod at big craps auto.oh he also owns his own finance co.I think that's illegal. Save yourself the trouble.

DISHONEST LIARS

Bought a vehicle from Big Macs that needed some repairs when we test drove it. Salesman was very nice and made it seem like he was going out of his way to get us the best deal and told us he only wanted us to be happy. Promised to fix the issues if we bought the car and managed to get us into the vehicle the same day. Turns out several things needed to be replaced because it was running rough. Took it back to them when they were able to get it into the shop they use and get repairs done, but after the repairs were done the check engine light came on. The salesman assured me that they would make it right and get the rest fixed. After I had the car a month we managed to get it back in to them so they could take it back to the shop to fix the main issue that was wrong, which was the same main issue we had when we test drove it. I was told to drop it off at the lot and they would take it back to the shop. Got a call later that day from a different salesman wondering why my car has been sitting there all afternoon. Then when I got another call back from them they stated that all the work promised in writing to repair the vehicle when we bought it was done, but the car still runs like *** and has no power, so it was obviously not fixed. They fixed a couple of things that was wrong with it but it did not take care of the main problem that I was guaranteed was going to be fixed. I went in to talk to them about this and told them the issue they promised to fix was not fixed, and that they should have it done correctly, but was told I would have to pay for anymore work that the vehicle needed as they honored their promise. ***! The issue was never fixed in the first place after I was promised multiple times it would be and that last time I took it in was guaranteed it would be fixed and my car just sat there. They did not even take it back over the the mechanic, but told me they did. I asked the salesman Greg if he was a liar then and he got extremely angry and started yelling at me and told me to get out. Whatever happened to " The customer is always right" and even if they aren't what kind of decent business would allow their employees to yell at customers and tell them to get out? WEll, the lost my repeat business, when we buy a car for our teenager we will definately be going somewhere else that's for sure. I also had a friend who was going to go there because they need a new vehicle, but they aren't going to do business with them now either. Right there alone is several thousand dollars lost to them. If you want a good experience where salesmen don't yell at you when you catch them in a lie don't go to Big Macs. We even went over to the mechanic after Greg told us he took my car over to them that morning, and they verified that he did in fact NOT bring it in that day. So a day without my car, special arrangements to get to work without it so it could just sit in their parking lot all day. Beware before you shop there. They talk good, but follow through is not what it should be and the salesmen or at least a couple of them are downright rude liars!

Buyers BEWARE!!! Big Mac's is a total ripoff and they are dishonest liars!

Bought a vehicle there for $6000.00 dollars and was told it was a great car with a few minor repairs needed. The car lot fixed a couple of small issues, but in the 90 days we have had it we had to have a couple of other issues fixed only to find out that the engine block has an 80% crack in it. I know there are no real guarantees when you buy a used car but for that price it should not have a cracked engine block. All these guys did was lie to us over and over again and said they would make it better to our faces and then tell us tough luck over the phone. I know from some of the employees talking they have had many issues from a bunch of customers having problems like we have had. If you want a reliable car that is in the condition even a used car lot should be selling don't go to Big Macs. The should be calling themselves BIG RIPOFFS. No car lot should be able to get away with selling a car with a cracked engine block without disclosing the information with the potential buyer that there is something major wrong with the vehicle. They definately should not be able to sell a vehicle like that for the price we were charged. We are trying to rebuild our credit on a very tight income and these jerks totally screwed us and don't even care! Like I said... BUYER BEWARE. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Bait and Switch cons!

Should be Bait and switch auto. Went looking for a truck I saw on a buy before auction special for $745 called before I left, first (to be on the safe side) asked what was wrong and was told it was just a trade in and extremely high mileage. Drove over an hour to the lot to find the vehicle was marked down to $588. Asked how it drove and was told it had a blown head gasket. But they would finance another car. OUTRAGEOUS! What a complete waste of time and gas. I would never recommend buying a car from people like this.

No Follow Through

We purchased a used car that had a few very minor repairs needed. We were told the parts were on order and we would be notified when to bring it in. After two months I called to inquire about the repairs and found out the parts had not even been ordered. I was told to check back in a couple weeks, which I did, but the parts were not in. Now we have had the car almost 6 months and they continue to put off the promised repairs with one excuse or another. I have given up ever getting the parts or having them fix it.

Dishonset and unfair!

Don't be lied to by Big macs auto sales like I was. Not the best credit I already knew that but they said I would definitly get approved no matter my credit. Got a car not my first choice but I know ith my credit I can't be that picky. They assured and promised me that it would be approved only to get a call a few days later asking me to bring the car back! Not even a simple were sorry. Save yourself alot of grief and go somewhere else and the owner Bert as well as the salesperson Andrew if you could call him that are about is dishonest as they come. I don't want to see anyone no matter their credit treated like I was.

Be thankful that you were not able to keep the vehicle. They actually did you a big favor.

If you had kept the vehicle chances are you would have a very overpriced lemon on your hands. These guys are definatley major liars, have no consiences whatsoever and are looking to screw as many people as possible.

With any luck they will be out of business before too many more people get taken by them. :(

Andrew was my salesperson as well. He wouldn't budge on the price, convinced me the price was more then reasonable, and then told me to lie to the finance company about how much cash I put down (I should have guessed then that dealing with them would be a nightmare)I never spoke to Bert, when I asked for the owner I was sent to someone named Titon.

The car is now sitting with a blown engine after owning it less then 3 months. His response?

It's my car, my problem. :(
